The Qatar World Cup knockout stages are kicking off, and in celebration of the beautiful game, Kamino will be airdropping SOL to users, based on the goals scored by the winning teams

The World Cup Airdrop Competition

For each knockout stage game, Kamino will be airdropping 1 SOL per goal scored by the winning team in the game, with one wallet currently deposited on the platform receiving the airdrop.

The only rule for wallet eligibility is having deposits in the platform totaling $100 or more.

Here’s an example of giveaways in the first two Round of 16 matches:

Match 1: Netherlands vs USA

  • The match ends 2-3 in favor of the USA, and US advances to the QF!
  • 3 goals by the US = 3 SOL to be airdropped
  • One wallet with $100+ deposited on the platform is selected by running a randomizer

The wallet will be announced in Discord and on Twitter. After the announcement, 3 SOL will be deposited directly into the wallet.

Should a match end in a draw and advance to a penalty shootout, an extra SOL will be airdropped, in addition to the goal scored by the winner during the match!

For example:

Match 2: Argentina vs Australia

  • The match ends 2-2, and advances to a shootout.
  • Australia wins the shootout!
  • 2 goals = 2 SOL + 1 SOL for shootout
  • The winning wallet receives 3 SOL

Technicalities

There are no specific vaults, or minimum/maximum numbers of vaults you need to deposit into to be eligible. There’s also no minimum deposit period to be eligible for the airdrop.

If, by the end of any given match, users who have $100 or more deposited in the platform, whether across 1 vault, or 10, will be eligible for the airdrop.

Winners will be announced at the end of each match day, in Discord and on Twitter! If you have any questions about the competition rules, don’t hesitate to join the Discord and ask a Kamino contributor.
